MANILA, Philippines — The latest OCTA Research survey reveals a decline in the trust and performance ratings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte. Despite these decreases, approximately two-thirds of adult Filipinos continue to support and approve of their performance.
President Marcos’ Ratings
- Trust Rating: Dropped to 69% in March from 75% in December 2023.
- Highest: Balance Luzon (79%), Class D adults (69%)
- Lowest: Mindanao (48%), Class ABC (64%)
- Distrust: 10%
- Undecided: 21%
- Performance Rating: Fell to 65% from 71% in December.
- Highest: Balance Luzon (75%)
- Lowest: Mindanao (48%)
- Class Breakdown: 59% among Class ABC, 66% among Class D
- Dissatisfied: 14%
- Undecided: 21%
Vice President Duterte’s Ratings
- Trust Rating: Decreased to 68% in March from 77% in December.
- Highest: Mindanao (95%), Class E (72%)
- Lowest: Balance Luzon (57%), Class ABC (60%)
- Distrust: 10%

- Performance Rating: Dropped to 64% from 75% in December.

Survey Details
The nationwide survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents. It has a margin of error of ±3% at a 95% confidence level and ±6% for regional breakdowns.
