The Indiana Pacers delivered an offensive masterclass on Sunday, dismantling the New York Knicks in Game 7 at 130-109 in a record-breaking Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Semifinal series.

Fueled by lights-out shooting, the Pacers etched their names in NBA history. Indiana connected on a staggering 67.1% of their shots from the field, the highest field goal percentage ever recorded in a playoff game. The previous record, held by the 1989-90 Boston Celtics, falls short at 67%.

Tyrese Haliburton spearheaded the Pacers’ offensive onslaught, pouring in a team-high 26 points. The Knicks, battling injuries throughout the playoffs, were dealt another blow when star guard Jalen Brunson fractured his left hand in the third quarter.

This victory marks a triumphant return to the Eastern Conference Finals for the Pacers, their first appearance in a decade. Coach Rick Carlisle praised his team’s resilience, highlighting the significance of winning a Game 7 on the road in the electric atmosphere of Madison Square Garden.

The Pacers now set their sights on the Boston Celtics, aiming to continue their Cinderella run and reach the NBA Finals.
