Family Sharing is a feature that allows you to share purchases, subscriptions, and iCloud storage with family members. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Create a Family Group #
- Go to Settings: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap on Your Name: Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
- Select “Family Sharing”: Tap on “Family Sharing.”
- Create a Family Group: Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new family group.
2. Invite Family Members #
- Send Invitations: Send invitations to the family members you want to include in your group. They can accept the invitation using their Apple ID.
3. Share Purchases and Subscriptions #
- Enable Sharing: Once family members join the group, you can choose which purchases and subscriptions to share. This includes apps, movies, TV shows, books, and more.
4. Share iCloud Storage #
- Set a Plan: Choose a family iCloud storage plan. You can share the storage among all family members.
5. Use Family Sharing Features #
- Location Sharing: Keep track of your family members’ location using the Find My app.
- Ask to Buy: Parents can approve or deny purchase requests from children.
- Screen Time: Manage screen time for family members, including setting limits and downtime.
